Message We’ll I went to Hallett yesterday in hopes of getting about 4-5 sessions of solid track time but the day and trip in general came with great cost and disappointments.

I had worked very hard for the past few weeks preparing for this event only to end the day with a blown water pump after a mere 3 laps.

The brighter side was I got my car repaired and home safely without being towed and the repair only cost me 45.00 and lost track fees (125.00+25.00+2 tickets+etc. etc).

I also got to ride with Nixit and finally got to feel what a Z32 is made it to do, VERY Impressive. This was my first track event and although it takes a lot of work, extra money and allot of dedication, this disappoint won’t stop me or get me down.
On top of that I received 2 tickets (1 speeding + 1 registration expiration) totaling 175.00

I learned two very valuable lessons on things I could have/should have done differently.

1. Don’t drive you’re track car to the track unless you are 100% confident it won’t break. I am 0 for 1 on breaking down:-/ I checked, rechecked and went over my car very, very thoroughly before going to this event. I had a small (class 3) oil leak from the rear seal that would drop a drip of oil occasionally but nothing that was critical. My temp ran around 176 -180 at all times.

2. Don’t go to a track event 4 hours away when you have a track 40 miles away, especially it’s you’re first time and you aren’t confident you’re car will take the beating a few laps will give. I should have tested the track at a closer location like MSR. Alls well, ends well.

Greg,Guapo, Nic, Don, Anthony and everyone else at the event, thanks for everything! Getting my car back together may not have been possible if it weren’t for the support.

My car is going back under the knife this week to install a new Koyo and fixing the rear seal.

I am very looking forward to going to MSR and learn to drive faster and more controlled than Nic:-)
